Twenty-year International Symposium of sculpture |
Granite Symposium, Buddusò
In the principal square of Buddusò, in its centre, every two years the International Symposium of granite sculpture thakes place: since 1985, form the International Biennal Event of sculpture and wood incision, thanks to the Comune di Buddusò, the VI Communità Montana del Monte Acuto, the Camera di Commercio, the Banco di Sardegna, the Banca Popolare di Sassari, the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna and the Provincia di Sassari, this initiative takes place, aiming to increase to value of some most important resources of the territory: granite and wood.The Symposium attracts many artists from all over the world: every time, their art and creativity, realised live in the middle of the town, made Buddusò a big museam in the open air. |
